MER Clinic: Creating Better Backdrops, More Realistic Scenery

Presented by Richard Perry @ MER Princeton 2010

Realistic scenery transforms a "plywood" layout into a "model railroad". It defines locations and activities. Many different techniques and materials have evolved and been developed over the years. These have been described and featured in articles in the model railroad press. This clinic will describe how to blend various techniques into a composite realistic scene as the author developed the historic old town of Highlands.
